WM12 water module
Silesia chimney insert with a water module offers additional functionality of a central heating boiler. It can be used as the only heat source or operate with other boilers fuelled with gas, oil solid fuels or electric heaters. Hot exhaust gas go to the water module where heat is released in a water heat exchange. Chimney insert with water module can heat central heating water or the consumption water. Apart from that, good portion of heat is radiated through the window - no difference from convection chimney.
Design of the water module facilitates high heat output of small dimensions device. Central heating pipework can be connected to the module through outlet taps located on the front part of the module. Also the coils preventing overheating of the chimney can be connected there. The connection pipes for the central heating pipework end with female thread, while the coils is connected with male thread. Also the female outlets are ready for sensors attachment. The cooling coil safeguards the heat exchange and the entire system against overheating, transferring the excessive heat to the water in the the home water circuits. The coil activates opening a thermo-couple vent, once the safe operation temperature is exceeded.
The coil is designed for excess heat transfer only!
RATH grog.
Interior of the insert is lined with high quality Rath grog warranting long years durability and excellent heat emission.
Double lock door
Double locked door are hermetic and not prone to disfigurement. It features press-close spring. Inner frame holding the glass is made of stainless steel withstanding active agents used in glass cleaning chemicals. The reinforced, shape preserving gasket seals the door perfectly. Composing, nickel coated handle let you open even hot door.
What fouls the window glass?
You want to have your window clean as the chimneys are bought because you want to see the fire. Dirty window takes off most of pleasure, discourage people from lighting fire and converts the chimney to obstacle in the living room. This is a setback shared by good part of the systems offered in the market. What makes the glass dirty? One of the reasons is quality of fuel: damp wood and softwood. This however depends on the user. What does not depend on him, is the burner construction facilitating considerable CO emission. Therefore it is good to check the CO output before purchase. The standards request the manufacturer to disclose the CO emissions reported in testing. You should seek for system featuring CO emission below 0,15%. But many inserts now in the market output as much as 0,3 or even 0,4 % of CO. So check it unless you want to have obscured view after 10 minutes of burning
