SMARTFIRE 81
The SmartFire pellet boiler features a compact design. Most of the boiler components are located inside the casing, which protects them from harmful external factors and mechanical damage. Inside the SmartFire boiler casing, two main elements can be distinguished: the boiler body and the fuel feeding system.
The boiler body consists of the collector, steel heat exchanger, combustion chamber, and ash chamber. Inside the steel heat exchanger, there are vertical flue gas tubes and a deflector. The heat exchanger is equipped with a manual cleaning system. The heat exchanger is mounted on the lower part of the boiler body, which includes the combustion chamber, ash chamber, and flue gas collector. Inside the combustion chamber, there is a burner. The burner is equipped with an automatic cleaning system. Fuel is supplied to the burner from the top via a gravity-fed screw feeder. Directly below the combustion chamber is the ash chamber, where the ash from the burner falls into the ash pan.
The second main element of the SmartFire pellet boiler is the fuel feeding system. It is an integral part of the boiler’s outer casing. It consists of the fuel hopper and a screw feeder with a gear motor. The fuel falls from the reserve hopper into the screw feeder, which then transports the fuel to the burner in the combustion chamber. The boiler body with the fuel feeding system is connected by the screw feeder flange. Two hinged covers are located on the front wall of the SmartFire boiler. Under the left cover, there are inspection doors that allow access to the combustion chamber and ash chamber. Under the right cover, there is an inspection opening for the lower part of the fuel feeding system and the boiler controller. Above the right cover, on the front wall, there is a display that shows the current status of the boiler, operating parameters, and allows configuration of the boiler.
The inlet and outlet for heating water, used to connect the boiler to the central heating system, are located on the rear wall of the boiler. They are equipped with internal-threaded connections G 1¼”. On the rear wall of the boiler, next to the flue gas outlet, is the exhaust fan. Above the flue gas outlet is a flue gas temperature sensor. The amount of air pumped by the fan is controlled and set by the controller.
The outer casing and the boiler body are insulated with mineral wool, which prevents heat loss during operation. The boiler casing is made of steel plates coated with high-quality, durable powder paint.
The modern controller manages the operation of the boiler and the entire boiler room, including pumps, valves, actuators, and the boiler. This ensures that all devices are integrated, and the controller optimally adjusts their operating parameters.
