06.06.2018

Is cost-effective heating possible? Pellets make for a good solution. Find out more!

When seeking residential space heating system we need to consider costs related to purchase and installation of heating system, as well as costs related to further operation. Heating system is the crucial installation responsible for comfort provided for users, as well as generated costs related to maintenance. System of proven high efficiency and fuel widely accessible at affordable price and easy to store guarantee user’s satisfaction.

Pellets fuel that is well known in Europe is getting more and more popular In Poland every day. Pellets are biofuels made from compressed organic matter or biomass, namely wood waste, sawdust, cutter chips and peat coal. Thermal processing of biomass prevents use of any chemicals, therefore pellet combustion does not result in environment pollution with harmful substances. Pellets relate to non-dusting and non-staining granulate that does not crumble, and is safe and comfortable during shipping, storage and use. Moreover nature of granulate facilitated precise fuel supply.

Parameters of pellets allow for comparison with hard coal. Contrary to other ecological fuel – wood - pellets features with almost total combustion, small quantity of ash that may be used as fertilizer. Furthermore considering this efficiency, pellets fuel is available at low price.

To find out all advantages of pellet heating, the heating system shall be provided with the stove dedicated for this type of fuel. Such stove offers much better performance than all-purpose boiler used with pellet. Pellet fired stoves and boilers are fully automatic and maintenance –free. They are provided with burner and heat exchanger automatic clearing system, as well as integrated system that controls boiler operation and its parameters. Thermal protection and closed combustion circuit ensure safety during use. Other significant featured of pellet fired boilers:

  • High energy thermal - ca. 91% ,
  • Low operating costs – cost of 1kWh is ca. PLN 0.2 and is lower comparing to other fuels,
  • Very low emission of carbon dioxide.

Costs related to pellet fired boiler is slightly over costs of traditional boilers, however further operation saves money. Pellets fuel is the clean and cheap alternative to all who care about environment and want to save money.
